Google Gemini 2.0 moves to general availability

Google officially launched the Gemini 2.0 model family to the general public and developers, marking its transition into the 'agentic era.' The update included Flash and Pro versions designed for low-latency tasks and native multimodal reasoning across text, image, and audio.

Gemini 2.0 deepened the rivalry with OpenAI and put advanced multimodal AI directly inside Google's most-used products.
