Amazon advertising revenue surges 24% to $17.2 billion in Q1
Amazon reported that its advertising segment reached $17.2 billion in Q1 revenue, driven by new AI-powered creative tools and expanded ad placement within Prime Video. CEO Andy Jassy noted that AI tools were significantly lowering the barrier for small brands to enter the ecosystem.
The growth cements Amazon as a third pillar of digital advertising alongside Google and Meta, with retail media reshaping where brands put their budgets.
